For those who prefer an insulated ski jacket the S-1 is the solution. Our 2-Layer stretch GORE-TEX jacket is built for skiing and snowboarding, delivering weather protection and performance while being light and comfortable. The windproof, waterproof, and breathable GORE-TEX fabric also offers four-way stretch that provides excellent comfort and freedom of movement. The insulation is PrimaLoft® Gold Eco, a premium synthetic insulation made with 55% recycled content, with zero loss in performance. We have chosen a medium/light weight (60g) PrimaLoft® insulation for the body and slightly thinner for the sleeves (40g). A solution just perfect for skiing - light and flexible, yet warm enough. The jacket features ski pass pocket, snow skirt, helmet compatible hood and YKK zippers.

What’s my size?

We feel that the best method to determine your size is to measure a similar favorite garment you already own – i.e. an insulated ski jacket if you are buying an insulated ski jacket etc. Compare with the chart below which is unique for each product. Please bear in mind that our shell garments are made to be quite loose fitting, to be able to add one or more layers beneath.

1/2 CHEST: Measure straight 1 cm below armhole from side to side
1/2 BOTTOM HEM WIDTH: Measure straight at bottom hem from side to side
SLEEVE LENGTH: Measure from shoulder point (at top of armhole) to sleeve
CENTER BACK LENGTH: Measure at the back side straight from center neckline to bottom hem in the center

The Mountain studio Insulated jacket size guide

Alp-3 is The Mountain Studio’s proprietary membrane technology. It's a hydrophilic membrane that delivers an excellent 30,000 mm water column and 30,000 g/m2/24 hrs breathability. This supple 3-layer stretch fabric is made from nylon and spandex, and has been given a PFAS-free DWR treatment on the outside.
