The S-1 insulated jacket from The Mountain Studio is built for resort skiing and snowboarding in cold, variable conditions. This mountain studio ski jacket features a 3-layer ALP-3 stretch membrane for waterproof and windproof protection, paired with PrimaLoft Gold synthetic insulation. The body uses 60g insulation for warmth, while the sleeves are filled with a lighter 40g layer to support mobility and comfort. The stretch fabric and high-reach arm construction ensure freedom of movement on the slopes and in the city.

Performance details include fully taped seams, YKK Aquaguard zippers, and a helmet-compatible hood with an integrated visor. The snow skirt blocks wind and snow, while ergonomic elbow shaping and signature sidecut hem and cuffs deliver a refined fit. The jacket offers two chest pockets, two hand pockets, a ski pass pocket on the sleeve, and inside compartments for secure storage. Breathability and weather resistance are engineered for reliable use in harsh winter environments.

The S-1 is available in beige, blue, and green, with a clean silhouette and minimalist detailing. The design supports versatile use, transitioning easily from groomed runs to backcountry, or from mountain resort to city streets. Pocket placement and adjustable features are tailored for active skiing and outdoor activities.

Sustainability is addressed through PFAS-free DWR treatment and PrimaLoft Gold Eco insulation made from recycled content. A repair kit is included to extend product life. Alp-3 is The Mountain Studio’s proprietary membrane technology. It's a hydrophilic membrane that delivers an excellent 30,000 mm water column and 30,000 g/m2/24 hrs breathability. This supple 3-layer stretch fabric is made from nylon and spandex, and has been given a PFAS-free DWR treatment on the outside.
