How does the D-3 RL fit, and should I size up or down?

The D-3 RL uses men's sizing with an ergonomic, layering-friendly fit. If you prefer a looser fit or plan to layer heavily, consider sizing up.

Which side is meant to face out?

Either. One quilted side and one smooth side give two distinct looks in one jacket, so you can wear whichever side suits the day.

Is the D-3 RL warm enough for the mountains?

Yes. It is filled with 700 fill power RDS-certified down, and the overlapping down chambers are woven together to minimise cold spots and reduce heat loss.

Can I wear it under a shell?

Yes. It works on its own as a light down jacket, or as an insulating layer under one of our Gore-Tex shell jackets when conditions turn.

Is it a waterproof jacket?

No. This is an insulated down jacket, not a waterproof shell. In wet conditions, wear it under a shell jacket.

How should I care for this down jacket?

Wash at 30 °C, inside out, separately and with fasteners closed. Use mild detergent, avoid bleach and fabric softener, do not iron or dry clean, and tumble dry on low with a few tennis balls to restore loft.

How fast is delivery, and what does shipping cost?

Orders placed on weekdays before 12:00 CET (EU, Switzerland and Norway) are normally dispatched the same day. Delivery usually takes 1–2 business days in Sweden, 1–3 business days in the EU, Switzerland and Norway, and 2–5 business days for the rest of the world. Shipping costs and any free-shipping threshold for your country are shown before you pay. For our key markets, including the EU, Switzerland, Norway, the UK and the US, taxes and duties are already included in the price.

Can I return or exchange my order?

Yes. You can return unworn items with tags attached within 30 days of delivery through our return portal. Returns are free, except from Germany where a €5 fee is deducted from the refund. We don't offer direct exchanges, so if you need another size or colour, the quickest way is to place a new order and return the original.
