What is the outer fabric?

The shell is Pertex Nano Shadow Ripstop, which combines low weight with added durability and a refined technical feel. It is finished with a PFAS-free DWR treatment.

The PFAS-free DWR treatment sheds light moisture, but this is an insulating down layer, not a hard shell. In sustained wet weather, wear it under a shell.

How should I care for the D-7 UL?

Wash easy care at 30 °C, inside out, separately and with fasteners closed. Use mild detergent, avoid bleach and fabric softener, do not iron or dry clean, and tumble dry on low with a few tennis balls to restore loft.
