Adaptable, lightweight and versatile. The Pertex insulated midlayer excels as a stand-alone or as an insulation layer for any outdoor activity.

It is built from 20D Pertex Quantum, a tightly woven fabric with a perfect balance between protection and breathability. The filaments have a uniquely engineered rhomboid form, providing significantly increased durability. 

The insulation is PrimaLoft® Gold Eco, a premium synthetic insulation made with 55% recycled content, with zero loss in performance.

The mid layer is strategically designed with stretch grid fleece side panels under arm for increased comfort and air flow.

This style runs small. If between sizes, choose the larger one.

Pertex® is the established leader in lightweight technical fabrics. The Mountain Studio uses 20D Pertex Quantum with Diamond Fuse Technology fabrics, which are made from yarns with unique Y shaped filaments. This creates a tightly interlocking structure, which improves the down-proof and water-beading properties of the fabric, while still being highly lightweight and supple, making it a perfect outer layer for down garments.
