GORE-TEX PRO 3L 2 in 1 Jacket

The Z-1 HDv Shell jacket with a detachable vest is feature-wise one of the flagship pieces of our collection. Our idea is that if you are going to buy just one jacket for skiing, mountaineering, hiking, travelling or just about any year-round outdoor use – that also is for urban use; commuting to work or as rain protection in the city, then this is the one. Functionality and urban versatility is what The Mountain Studio is all about.

Use it as the outer shell of a layering system and combine it with an insulated mid-layer and you have a perfect cold weather jacket. Or use it with a technical mid-layer or thin jersey and you are all set for normal weather skiing, or any other outdoor activity. All year round.

3-Layer GORE-TEX® PRO is the most technical version of the GORE-TEX® membrane. The Gore fabric makes it durably waterproof, completely windproof, and extremely breathable.  

The integrated snap in/out vest is insulated with PrimaLoft® Gold Eco, with 55% recycled materials. It provides excellent insulation in relation to its weight – which by the way is minimal. The patented microfiber structure captures body warmth to keep you warm, yet the material has great wicking properties. In addition, the PrimaLoft® Gold Eco keeps you warm even when wet, as it retains 96% of its warmth. Both the vest, and the outer shell can of course be used separately as stand-alone pieces.

The pièce de resistance of this jacket is the innovative soft insulation barrier inside the brim of the hood, neck and in the cuffs. This ultralight and ultrasoft Sorona® insulation not only makes you warm, but it also makes this shell feel very comfortable to wear.
